Joel DuBois is the founder and principal of Law Marketing Advisors, a consulting firm that provides law firms with expert fractional Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) services and strategic coaching. With over 20 years of experience in legal marketing—including 16 years as a senior consultant at Thomson Reuters’ FindLaw and Super Lawyers—Joel has helped hundreds of firms grow their revenue through smarter, more effective marketing.

In 2020, he launched Law Marketing Advisors to give firms unbiased, high-level marketing leadership without vendor lock-in. Joel and his team coach law firms on strategy, oversee SEO, PPC, website development, local service ads, content, video, and more—offering vendor selection, oversight, and accountability to ensure every dollar is working toward results.

Known for his integrity, candor, and client-first approach, Joel works with top-performing firms nationwide, helping them avoid wasteful spending, attract higher-quality leads, and improve ROI through data-driven strategy.

Outside of work, Joel is a husband and father of two. He enjoys camping, skiing, off-road adventure motorcycling, hiking with his golden retrievers, and traveling to find the best pizza and hidden gem restaurants.
