Cliff is the CEO of Lua Legal, and is dedicated to bridging communication gaps in the legal profession. He began his legal career at Harvard Law School, and through his IP transactional work at Kirkland & Ellis.  Prior to his legal career, he was a practicing Industrial Engineer in the aerospace industry, honing a data‑driven approach to complex systems. Post-engineering, he refined his strategic problem‑solving as a consultant at McKinsey, focusing on new business and product growth, leaving as the highest performing Sr. Analyst in his group.

Growing up dependent on legal aid to navigate evictions, homelessness, and foster care, Cliff has first-hand experience with the legal communication crisis. He is dedicated to helping US legal aid organizations expand their reach from 3 million to 30 million people served annually by 2030.
